just ~throwing this out there~ in the last days of my campaign — my name’s Say, I’m a sometimes-writer and full-time bartender, been recovering from top surgery and out of work for 7 weeks w/o PTO or medical leave. it’s been a long, often lonely road; any support (even a “like”) means a lot!

"your trauma made you stronger". no, my trauma made me traumatized. it made me weak, it gave me memory loss, and it gave me feelings i've never wanted. i made myself stronger by dragging myself out of a dark place and dealing with consequences that weren’t my fault.

"a single person of this demographic may have committed a crime, therefore we must punish the entire demographic" is a policy response you may recognize from fascist governments dedicated to ethnic cleansing elsewhere.
