Digital painting of Emet-Selch from Final Fantasy XIV. Still in his Solus form, he shrugs off his robes to reveal the mortal wound he received during his battle in Shadowbringers - an aetheric wound that original showed as a hole through a shade of his body, with glowing edges. The wound is still showing vivid blue around the edges, however, it now appears to be mended, the centre being a brilliant almost white light. Light flecks are floating away from it. He's looking over his shoulder at the light, while his arms are hugging his body. From his expression, he seems at a bittersweet kind of peace.
