i always kinda feel bad for these people.. how insecure they must be in order to refuse communication with a person who wants to talk things out and solve them. ofc if you're talking to a crazy person then blocking is completely valid but i know that's not the case here 😭

usually i wake up at 6am and then go back to sleep until 7. this morning the same thing indeed happen but with 5am and 6am. new routine!!!

ch. 24 – i expected minho to recommend thomas to join the runners but replace him as keeper???? omfg. i was actually a bit afraid minho would lie about what happened there but he's all for thomas. i like minho

had to rant a bit about it sorry sjhsjs. i do enjoy the book a LOT it's a very easy read and the story is amazing i love it sm!! i know i will warm up to the characters and when i know more info, all the repetitiveness will disappear. i guess it's just to keep us engaged and curious but it's not it

"he felt connected to the girl" "his mind went back to the girl" "let's ignore gally even tho he 100% has sth to do with me"

i know it should frustrate the reader as much as it frustrates thomas but something is missing. its overdone.. repetitive. many things in the book are for now. im still enjoying the book a ton but i noticed the repetitiveness of so many things very early on. "no questions" "he could ALMOST remember"

really hope he gets more answers soon bc every character (even the more likeable ones), including thomas lowkey, is so annoying 😭 i gotta say the author did well bc i don't dislike any of them, but they're all still annoying as hell. i feel like they overdo it with the "don't ask questions" rule.

until now i thought gally meant thomas went through the changing but only he remembers. also, of course thomas didn't care about it and ✨ thought about the girl instead ✨

ch. 23 – FINALLY A BIT MORE INFO ABOUT THE CHANGING OMFG. so you get some of your memories back. chuck saying "gally's the worst of them all" meaning he also went through the changing, which explains why he really does remember thomas. they had a connection before.

thomas' mind more. i don't understand how thomas did not even think about it once. he's always like "why does he hate me :(" instead of wondering why he claims to know him...? like thomas is always thinking about his lost memory but when another kid tells him he REMEMBERS him he doesn't give a damn?

i gotta say the repetitiveness of the author to try and make us so curious about the girl makes me not care about her at all 😭 like ok we get it a girl showed up and thomas has a connection to her. stop mentioning it 8 times a chapter? if anything, gally telling thomas he knows him should occupy

i learned it's a millennial thing. i am trying to grow out of it 😭

ch. 19 – the griever deadass shutting down and then waking up again and starting to climb as if it had an update 😭

i know he didn't want to break the rule so he waited until the last second to see if they make it and only if not then he'd make the extreme choice of leaving the glade btw. jshsjs im just annoyed bc as a reader you just know he's gonna leave so i was like "BETTER DO IT NOW GREENIE"

ch. 16 – yes thomas let's wait until the very last second to go help out our friends!! it's ok dw just watch them struggle while there's still time and wait until the gate is almost closed to go to them

this is also what i went through!! to me it was a really fun online group but when i needed them most they disappeared. im trying to find a group like that again to have fun on the tl again but i don't think it's ever gonna happen
