This entire game is like one big TTRPG open to anyone, but on a website. You are the players, I (the dev) am the GM. It is messy and weird and fun and we're all progressing this story together, part by part, quest by quest.

It is HIGHLY addictive and must be used with caution. Also finding a clean source is important as some scrappers will lace it with spare bathroom chemicals so they can loot your body later! There are businesses that will check supply for free if asked to help prevent the risk of death.

Purple Ghostvine is a waxy substance that users melt down and inject into themselves and is used widely for pain relief, certain immune system disorders, recreationally, and, in the case of Iliana and Kori, in lab experiments to see if it can be used to help treat severe mental disorders. 🧵

In Vekari, there are a few pain relief options from direct suppression of pain responses in the nervous system using specially tuned cyberware, to certain spells, to a commonly used street drug called Purple Ghostvine. 🧵

Every single argument online for the use of AI boils down to "because someone said it would be useful". More cons than pros listed everywhere.

Can't help but notice all the advice for artists down about Gen AI is "nobody was seeing/buying your work anyways so it makes no difference just use it to be faster" and that that doesn't at all address how if my work is inherently societally worthless, why it needs to be stolen to train the AI.

Keep playing my games and asking why, it's good practice. I give lots of opportunities. You'll need that muscle later.

You didn't understand the subtextual story in Painting Tomorrow? That's good. Why? Missing textual context? Was there anything environmental? Was it intended for a certain audience with a differing experience to yours? Do you need the story to feel any way about it? Fun anyways? All good.
