I just finished watching S3E3 of THE DIPLOMAT and every episode of this season so far has had me near tears. I haven’t rooted so hard for a relationship on TV since Elizabeth + Philip in THE AMERICANS. Kate and Hal 4ever. Keri Russell is extraordinary.

Have you ever hit shuffle on your recent liked songs and feel so overwhelmed, as if some kind of tidal wave of gratitude (CRINGE!) comes crashing down that makes you question your own name + think, “Wow, I exist in the same timeline these songs were recorded.” I’m currently drowning in this emotion.

I’m not well versed in televisions so I had to consult my BFF who is. I ended up getting the 55" LG 4K OLED C4.

Is there a service out there like old school Netflix where you can rent movies by mail? I did a comparison of streaming Gregg Araki’s NOWHERE on The Criterion Channel vs. the 4K disc — and the difference was astounding. Why are we all subjecting ourselves to such blasphemy?

Now that I have a 4K television, I’m finding myself refusing to stream movies from any platform. Instead I’m purchasing the 4K discs. This is becoming a very expensive hobby. What are all of you film junkies doing? Are you renting movies from the library?
