Epic failure. New leadership needed.

This is really telling! It doesn't work like that anymore, bud. None of it works like that β€” even if it did on Jan. 19.

seems to me that those democrats inclined not to fight perceive themselves as living through a somewhat ordinary cycle of presidential overreach and backlash and not something much more significant and dangerous

Yeah I don’t buy that. This was the week someone was going to cave. The Dems just allowed it to be themselves.

It’s about cowardice not corruption.

10.11.2025 13:42 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

We need a change in leadership now.

10.11.2025 13:41 β€” πŸ‘ 24    πŸ” 2    πŸ’¬ 2    πŸ“Œ 0

Correct. They always are.

10.11.2025 13:40 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

This is so completely wrong. Completely! We 100% need new leadership. You want donations? You replace leadership.

Why doesn’t Shaheen @shaheen.senate.gov (and Hassan @hassan.senate.gov ) listen to her constituents who are furious that she caved to the GOP for nothing?

Great job, @schumer.senate.gov. You've changed the story from "GOP hurting millions of Americans to please unpopular, failing, delusional despot who's destroying his party" to "Dems are too weak and divided in the face of Trump's strength to take a stand and protect Americans"

KG was involved the first time so I got no doubts she was involved this go around. CC as well. He’s a hand-wringer.

More than 10,000 flights delayed in worst day of disruptions since shutdown More than 2,800 flights were canceled Sunday, while Transportation Secretary Sean P. Duffy said the shutdown’s impact on airports is β€œonly going to get worse.”

This and the airline industry lobbyists are what did it. Not Americans starving and paying twice as much for healthcare.

I think we can all guess who really wanted to cave. Some usual suspects there. Def KG.

Since the Democrats worked extra hard to hide who actually supported this, I think the No Kings/Resistance position should be to primary every Democrat unless they publicly call for Schumer's ouster this week

Either they go into total rebellion mode, which they won't, or the people will

Important to understand this. There's a reasonable chance that your Dem Senator who voted against it and is acting mad now was in on the play. It's the same reason why they scheduled the surrender for AFTER the election this week. They didn't want people pissed at Dems right before an election.

10.11.2025 02:11 β€” πŸ‘ 6382    πŸ” 2148    πŸ’¬ 291    πŸ“Œ 209

100%. There were a bunch more who wanted this who are acting like they didn’t. KG is def one of them.

10.11.2025 03:35 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

The original Dem demands were:
1) Permanent ACA subsidies
2) Medicaid funding restored
3) No more blank checks for the regime (rescission)

They dropped Medicaid immediately. Went silent on rescission. Cut back to 1 year of subsidies on Friday. And surrendered today.

The Senate Democrats!

agreeing to make a terrible deal while your main opponent is quite literally being boo'd on live tv by an entire stadium of people is the kind of political instinct you'd normally only find in a 3 week old dead goldfish

I can guess who many of the others who wanted this are. And this was their one play. They won’t shut the government down again. Won’t happen.

The fact that none of the 8 Dems are up for re-election in 2026 is a pretty good sign @schumer.senate.gov engineered the surrender
