Yesterday Branch Chair - Andrew Mather presented an item at @rcn.org.uk congress on behalf of the RCN Health and Safety Reps committee and today that item passed the vote, he will start working with RCN Council on this important issue in the coming months

Long COVID support: RCN urges Prime Minister to intervene | News | Royal College of Nursing Nursing staff are still being denied access to vital financial support after having their lives torn apart by long COVID

In November 2024 we wrote to the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, asking for long COVID to be recognised as having been acquired at work.

We have not received a response.

On Saturday we marked #LongCOVIDAwarenessDay, and urged Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer to intervene.
