When it comes to Mis & Henderson they are almost certainly being more cautious than with other guys. And that's not a bad thing imo.

I was curious which Brewers starters consistently go the deepest into games and it's pretty remarkable how similar they all are(I removed Patrick's 1 IP relief outing).

Woodruff goes the deepest and then the trio of Quintana/Priester/Peralta are all basically the same.

I wonder if the Brewers knew Devin was about to break, or if the Yankees broke Devin. Would be fascinated to know if the Brewers think they could fix him

Arbitrary cutoff, sure. But the Brewers' 44-16 record over their last 60 is their best in any 60-game stretch in a season in franchise history.

Yea. They can get by with a Nixon/Valentine duo with Bullard in the slot. And Hobbs should still be ready for week 1(although maybe limited) but definitely not ideal.

Really good article from @jakemckibbin.bsky.social on why Anthony Seigler is getting a decent sized look. I don't mind the idea as I dont think Seigler has been as bad as a lot of fans believe. The only thing I worry about is Durbin is really darn good and should be an every day player.

In his last eight outings, Trevor Megill is averaging 10 pitches per inning. He has allowed one hit and no runs with 10 strikeouts and no walks. He is a monster.

Last 15 appearances (4 with an opener) he is 10-1 with a 2.51 ERA. Legit one of the best pitchers in baseball since the end of may. Incredible.
