How can humour change the conversation on vaccines?
In Zimbabwe, comedian Sabkhuku Vharazipi has amassed a colossal fanbase with wry sketches that skewer anti-vaccine myths and deliver life-saving health info. bit.ly/3M7bDGv
Infectious diseases do not magically disappear just because you stop tracking and reporting. This is dangerous.
When diseases spread in silence, outbreaks go undetected for much longer and containment is more difficult.
All of this means more avoidable deaths.

These outreach events are so important and proves if you make science accessible people are genuinely interested!
I have enjoyed seeing this project progress over the last few years. Reto, you did a great job! I always love walking past your computer and seeing the latest microscope images even if I have slight envy of just how fabulous they look!

Key points: WHO Member States took a major step forward in efforts to make the world safer from pandemics, by forging a draft agreement for consideration at the upcoming World Health Assembly in May 2025.
