Lwaxana is the best, every time she made an appearance, she stole the show. I think for me it'll take time, like I like how Star Trek explores the unknown, and being stationary feels off - same feeling with DS9 at first, but I grew to love it as the story evolved.

I adore everything Star Trek, but I'm still trying to figure out Starfleet Academy. I'm watching it, I'm enjoying it, but it feels more diet-Star Trek, or Star Trek flavored, not hooking me like Voyager, DS9, Discovery, TNG, etc etc

Final Fantasy hot take - while FF7 might be my favorite of the series (a basic bitch take), FF15 would be the runner up. Don't care what anyone has to say about it, it's always enjoyable for me, and one of the few I don't just start/stop, I always finish it when I spin up a new game.

I'll definitely give it a watch, been trying to expand my anime library as I've gotten older, ignored it completely when I was younger (minus a couple movies like Vampire Hunter D and Ninja Scroll), so have a lot of catching up to do.

S1 was pretty great. It kinda lost me when it was going through the mage trials or whatever they called it, but overall an awesome S1.
