An Inktober Entry from October 1, 2019, Day 1: Ring. The prompt explanation reads: Ruather Ossearretyn and Mirabel Cresthill both have “default” outfits which make use of gloves. While cute, it makes ring placement quite difficult in terms of visibility. Hence, wedding earrings! In-verse, the one who came up with the idea was in fact, Mirabel. She surprised Ruather with a pierced ear and he is both touched and quick to follow suit. When one spouse passes on, the surviving spouse pierces their other ear to hold onto the partnering jewelry until their reunite with their beloved once more… Two hearts are drawn after the ellipses.
