Rewatching #BleachTYBW and now I'm very certain that Jugo's story is about grooming and victimhood. Its not explicit but his uncle is clearly s*x pest, he forms a friendship/romance with Bazz, and then betrays that to join Ywach in service of his warped desire for love and affection.
