Think Opurum would've been a help, raw as he is. So little rim protection once he went out. Which is why I assume whatever medical issue prompted them to declare him out for the season in December had to have been serious

Such a shame. CBM leaving Auburn felt like a lose-lose proposition on the day it happened--he needed some degree of stability, Auburn needed his all-around talent.

also don't think there was ever any realistic chance of that happening at any point after the second F4 run tbh

yeeeeaaaaah, I won't defend playing Muschalek over Magwood, and think my biggest complaint w/ SP is that some of these disciplinary decisions have felt too emphatically "I'll show you I'm in charge here"

but ultimately that's not what's wrecked the season IMHO. It's that the players aren't good

He's not. But I'm skeptical anyone would have been, especially given the timing of the appointment. Honestly think they've overachieved massively on offense, this could've easily been a 12-17 kind of season
