art of Sakamoto Ryoma and Okita Soji from Ryu Ga Gotoku Ishin Kiwami! ryoma has longer hair, wearing it in a low ponytail. he has a red yukata on with a pattern of ginko leaves and cherry blossoms. in his arms is okita soji, also with longer hair, let down from its usual ponytail. he is still wearing his tsuba eyepatch, but his yukata is ryoma's, the pattern the same from when ryoma is in the ikedaya inn in the game. it insinuates that he stole his clothes. the lack of okita's facial hair has to do with the fanfic im writing, choetsu, where okita is a crossdresser and often shaves his face if he plans to dress up. it shows the soft beauty he has beneath the gruff samurai facade, something he and ryoma have to shed in order to continue with their love afair. both of them practice Shudo, Male Colours, meaning homosexuality, with Okita being Ryoma's Wakashu. The purpose of Wakashu is to appear young, beautiful and desirable. This is outlawed some time after the end of ther Bakumatsu Era into the Meiji Restoration. The fic will explore this a little.
