Playing the waiting game after sending out demos is a level of hell I was not prepared for when I started this journey 🫣 #edmsky #musicsky

They’re all demos haha. I haven’t had a label give me feedback yet, they’ve just signed the tracks I have out as is. I keep hearing that the “idea” isn’t enough anymore and needs to be fully polished before sending the demo, but maybe that’s wrong? So hard to know what labels expect these days.

I’ve been sitting on a few demos for months, but I’ve been procrastinating sending them to labels. It’s hard to tell when a track is 100% finished or needs more work, and then get the courage to send them out and brace myself for rejection. Any advice chat?

#LosAngeles gets hate for its nightlife, but my favorite thing about being a #DJ & #edm fan here is the diversity of genres. Seems like other big US cities mostly play house & techno, meanwhile here you can find UKG, jungle, juke, dnb, trance, & euro. If you like it, we probably got it 💯 #musicsky
