This is where it's nice to be the comet. Underway, on the move, and laying out the available dates for others to decide about. I don't always get to be with everyone I've ever wanted, but the people I love most tend to make it happen when I'm in their vicinity.

I read mostly ebooks from the library and so I get on single-author kicks now and then. Free repeat pleasures! Last one was Rebekah Witherspoon with both kinky and vanilla romances, in case you think an author binge is something you'd be into.

Romance writers: profligate yet persnickety

I came here to say exactly this. My return of rights are clearly stated in my publishing contract, and I write queer/trans romance books! How are we ahead of the academics on this?

Ummm, if reading some sounds good, Malka Older is a brilliant person writing mysteries. The Investigations of Mossa and Pleiti series, specifically. Setting is so good, as is the rest.

Walked 3.5 miles...the farthest in a while, since Red Hook was so bad for walking and biking! Patillas, PR is beautiful. The young women at the supermarket couldn't find us a taxi back so they worked it out for one to stay on the clock and drive us herself. So so nice.
