All in the name of practicing his more audacious stylistic arts on 'pliant models' of course. No foul play was underway and he vehemently denies the newspaper quote from the Captain of The Guards as saying "BALMUDO is barbaric" - it was obviously a misprint that meant to say "BALMUDO is a barber."

#PairWith Take Shelter (2011)- very thematically similar, although that goes the psychological route as opposed to this film's courtroom procedural set-up...
#ReWatch The Last Wave (1977) - Peter Weir's follow-up to the masterpiece of Picnic At Hanging Rock. It's a much more overtly supernatural tale, grounded in the myths of indigenous Australians, with some fantastic imagery, but also some clunky storytelling.
