Met Jim Mullen, CEO, and Erin Gay Miyoshi, Dir. of Fund Dev at Catholic Charities outside St. Augustine Hunger Center in Tremont the day before Thanksgiving. They were hands-on preparing 12,000 meals for Cleveland residents in need. Truly inspiring.

Visited the new Ohio City spot, Visible Voice Books at 4601 Lorain Ave. Met Grace Lejar and Nick Salata enjoying a drink. Loved talking with them and seeing the bar, theater, and shelves packed with amazing vintage and new books. Exciting for the neighborhood.

Great catching up with Ken Silliman at Noble Beast. Lifelong CLE public servant, longtime chief of staff to Mayor Jackson, & author of Cleveland Sports Facilities. I often see him the jogging or picking up trash in Downtown Cleveland. Always inspiring to see his dedication to the city.

Met David and Marilyn Miller, originally from Syracuse and Rochester. Indians fans who loved visiting Cleveland, they chose it for retirement. David led planning in Cayuga, NY for 31 years. Stopped by Main Library Nov 29 to celebrate Winterland!

Caught up with Erin Martin of PFLAG Cleveland, first met her while covering Cleveland Pride. Wearing a "Free Mom Hugs" shirt, she embodies the mission to create a caring, affirming world for LGBTQ+ folks. A true neighbor and community treasure.

I really liked it. Nice surprise to me as many horror/suspense have not hit for me in this genre lately. Found this one unique.

It was great meeting Matt Greminger, known as Gremi, over breakfast at the West Side Market Cafe. As founder and president of the nonprofit Cleveland 13 News, he works each week to give local voices a platform. Thanks, Gremi, for your time and for letting me take your photo.

Visited the Muni Lot & met The Degenerates: Alfredo Gargano, Lindsey Tilberg, Maryssa Schmidt, Giovanni Castelli, Carly Burger, & Ryan Schmidt. They have been together since 2019. Giovanni welcomed me to their spot with his legendary limoncello, that warmed me in mere seconds.
