with the two that belonged to us, yes, actually! but with the third one of our friend’s, no :(

weve only ever used nintendo cables for them, and all three of them presented with the exact same issue at the same time - all three charge completely fine in and outside of the docks, and all three work in handheld mode

yeah, they work when theyre not docked and they charge both in the docks and outside of them, they just wont display to any tv :( we'll be taking the docks into the repair place too to see if they can just tell us the docks are fucked but unfortunately the switches likely are too

the last time we traveled by plane was in june, with only one of the switches and docks, and we had no issues with it after :( its all so weird

I HAVE NOOO IDEA....we're gonna take them to a repair place we really trust and hope that they can Tell us wtf happened when they fix them bc this is crazyyyy

we narrowed it down to unfortunately the worst possible option - all three switches and docks somehow got fried by each other. the 3rd one no longer displays on tvs even in an entirely different house. the only fix is to take them in for repairs in a different city.

yeah, everything connects to the wifi but even without it nothing needs wifi for them to connect. we did figure out that it’s the switches that are broken, but we still don’t know How it happened

we actually just tried this, but it didn’t work either - which at least narrows it down to being the switches that are broken. which… is awful, but at least we know now What’s broken
