I finished some handspun! Finished the singles awhile ago and was conflicted on whether to ply them on each other or together. I originally wanted to make the rock it tee and stipe the colors but then thought they went together so I could just ply and not faff with striping.

Can’t stop. Won’t stop. I knit this in a week! This is the Tolsta Tee knit in Knit Picks Cotlin. One of my favorite tops I’ve knit! #handlnit

I’m working on finishing some languishing wips. This one was started in December last year. It is (mostly) the Tic Tac Toe sweater by Ana-Maria (crochethighway). I followed the pattern until I got to the crocheted ribbing. The capital K knitter in me couldn’t do it. So I knit broken ribbing.

I finally finished my @threewatersfarm.bsky.social tour de fleece 2025 colors. This is Slipstreams Pull and Pulling Purple. I spun them end to end and chain plied. These are going to be my main colors for a handspun Recalibrate.

#tourdefleece2025 has come to a close today. I spun 9 little skeins. See my “before” and after ;). This includes a spin along, spinning from a class at SSK, the spun fiber from the fiber pool at SSK and a couple other spins from my Advent in 2023. In total it was about 17 ounces - over a pound!

I finished spinning the plies for my opposing ply sock yarn for the PLY guild spin along. I had time to ply them today and boy is this yarn interesting! It feels so wrong when it is just a bunch of noodles coming off of the Knitty Noddy but I’m trusting the process and about to give them a bath.

Catch up days 3-5 of the #tourdefleece. I’m spinning some Targhee bamboo silk from Hipstrings. We are doing a spin along in the PLY guild. This fiber is yummy!

Day 2 #tourdefleece2025 results. I finished the 2oz of Polwarth and Andean plied it. I got 64g and 172 yds (pre-wash).
