Gendering things that don't need genders. I include the English language in that. It's stupid and bad. Stop.

Except me, of course. I'm obviously more rational than most, it's just those OTHER people that are completely off their rockers.
The complete lack of actual clothing offsets that cost.

I was there and had a sign, but this guy stole the spotlight.

I wouldn't recommend looking for the videos if you're not sure you want to see that. It doesn't look good, and I'm not sure how he survives.

From the text, it should say they are NOT terrified, and/or that they are pretending to be.

Quote skeet with the weapon of tomorrow, which must be worse than a sandwich.
There is absolutely nothing more sus than Stephen King offering you an adorable house cow.
14.08.2025 14:37 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I also enjoyed The Gone World by Tom Sweterlitsch. It's sci-fi and also includes some body horror, though I didn't find it as overtly scary as some others, it's still a good read.
I'm not sure how old any of those books, are rarely check publishing date, I just read what looks good in the moment.
A couple that are more removed, but still keep that cosmic/eldritch horror feel are T Kingfisher's The Hollow Places, a modern fantasy(?) which includes some body horror and a sort of snark/humor that Kingfisher is known for.
