Is anyone else as confused by this Pentagon statement as I am? We were told that the Israelis and [we] Americans had achieved air superiority over Iran, but *now* we are being told that the Kuwaitis shot down 3 F-15s over Kuwait that were...dogfighting with the Iranian Air Force?

How exactly are we supposed to respond to Pete Hegseth angrily snapping, "We didn't start this war!" when they *bloody well did* and and the whole world watched it happen on television?

Does he not actually know that by every conceivable standard America is the aggressor here?

I remember arguing against going into Iraq and being called unpatriotic. Twenty years later everyone is like we never should have gone in Iraq - but I'm a dem so I'm still labeled as unpatriotic.

Whenever patriotism is the reason, the reason is not good.

This is the start of a new narrative about terrorists in the US.

These events will escalate ahead of the midterms to provide Trump the story he needs to enact emergency powers.

Don't fall for it, it will culminate in an "Iranian" terrorist attack of serious proportions, all of it enacted by Trump.
