New government data confirms gas exporters continue to pay no tax
βIt beggars belief that a company like Santos can spend a decade selling almost $50 billion worth of gas and not pay a cent of tax on it," said @rodcampbell.bsky.social. #auspol

Always remember - gas companies hate selling gas to Australians and none of the proposals for new gas fields (which are not needed) will be for domestic use.
So do not buy any of the spin.
The solution to this is easy:
1/ Stop unrestricted gas exports.
2/ Reduce Australian domestic gas prices with uncontracted gas.
3/ Make gas exporters pay their fair share of taxes and royalties.
4/ Approve no new gas projects.
Sign the petition here!

Here's the ACCC today saying that gas exporters are ripping us off. Again.
"gas being offered & supplied by the exporters to the domestic market has declined over time, while LNG export volumes have increased."
