Despite the recent, draconian tightening of Victorian legislation, CPSU members can still make mental injury claims under WorkCover. These claims can be difficult, however if they meet the legal definition and are backed by medical diagnosis, compensation may be payable.

Vic Govt has withdrawn its COVID-19 leave policy but you can still lodge a WorkCover claim if you contract COVID-19 while working.
The law recognises that disease contracted in the course of employment is a workplace injury.
