Took down another Nexus Night with Teemo!

I wanted to try the 2 Sprite Mother + 2 Sprite Call package from Prismat's Vegas list. The easiest cut is Scrapheap, which I don't want in Best of 1 anyways, so my Tuesday Best of 1 locals was the perfect chance to take it for a spin.

I dropped Sprite Call from this list (though I still had Mother Sprite in side). I definitely want one of the sprite spawners in the list, its super valuable into decks like Kai'sa and Annie. Might try Mother Sprite in the main over Ember Monk? idk we'll see.

Won the Nexus Night at Cardboard Hero today with Teemo!

Back on Wandering Yordle after a while without it, performed very well for me. Also trying Dreaming Tree as my going 1st battlefield but I only went to game 3 once so I didn't get a ton of time with it. Felt good tho.

VERY annoyed at this run tbh. R2 I had game vs Kai'sa 3 different ways and my dumbass did the only line that loses to double Stupefy

R3 Viktor was just bricking. 0 2 drops in the earlygame to drawing exclusively 2 drops late. Entirely lost to being unable to develop board early.

Took Teemo to the Nexus Night at Gnu Books last night (only Bo1, very cringe), only went 2-2

Took out Scrapheaps since I couldn't guarantee a Zaun Warrens game. Same for Star-tipped Peak, didn't want it going 2nd. Bo1 woes.

As for Yi. I kept hearing it was a *very* strong match-up for Teemo but I dodged it for my first uh. FIVE locals. But I fought it Friday and then again at this locals and 2-0'd it both times. We have great tools to circumvent Yi's effect and our lategame is just better. Good shit!

Life is definitely a lot easier when half of the units my opponent is putting out I get to just ignore because they're never going to threaten me until I have a Mundo big enough to sweep them!

I keep hearing Viktor is supposed to be a hard match-up but thus far I am 8-2 into the match-up LOL. Though its definitely a skill thing in part, I don't think the local Viktors are very good and one of the wins here was definitely in part to my opponent loading up on Vilemaw's.

The Annie match-up is SO hard, I'm learning it and winning vs weaker Annies now, but a good player never getting tapped out is so difficult.

But, no, AGE fully understands, but that's for later. Right now its time to be in Flit's head as he develops the hatred that will be his driving force all the way to the end.

and on top of this you've got Flit being Waaaay too enthusiastic about being a soldier. And no one in the cast is really going "hey thats weird" or anything, he gets complimented on it all the time. In such a way that it can fade into the background, thinking that's just the kind of show this is.

Its deliberately set up in such a way that you really can't be sure who they really are. are they actually aliens? and it dulls the impact of flit calling them monsters all the time, cuz right now we're supposed to be in his headspace, see how he's becoming who he will be.

i love the UE mechs on their own but i ADORE how they're used in the flit arc to make them feel completely alien. uncharacteristically for gundam we get absolutely no insight into the villains perspective, we don't see them making plans, nothing.

god i loooove gundam age. i starting showing it to venus and it always hits me immediately how deliberately set up the flit arc is. like its very clearly hitting the generic 0079 plot beats but it changes elements in some specific ways to naturally lead into who flit will become
