01.07.2025 20:50 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0How will this work exactly? Will they be allowed to have others trade on their behalf?
14.05.2025 18:28 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Iโve been a Firefox user forever and itโs the best! I would be really sad if it were donezo :(
24.04.2025 17:04 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Is there a vaccine I can take that will give me autism? I donโt want to pay taxes.
17.04.2025 04:38 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Between Black Mirror, Last of Us, Handmaids & wheel of time, I feel pretty rich with TV watching content right now ๐
15.04.2025 12:18 โ ๐ 4 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0How is it different?
13.04.2025 14:53 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0How is it? Iโve always had positive experiences with jetbrains products.
13.04.2025 14:48 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0This!! Theyโre all working around the limitations ๐ฏ%
13.04.2025 14:47 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I think they named it Cursor because after your vibe code generated slop gets written, you start cursing your entire way through trying to fix the issues it created
13.04.2025 14:16 โ ๐ 5 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Hopefully the copilot folks come up with a better workflow than Cursor. They seem to be concerned with the programmer DX, which is great!
13.04.2025 14:13 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0the developer doesnโt get to understand why those decisions were made. There are pros and cons to this, but Iโd rather manually walk through the problem with copilot than have the LLM make decisions for me that I regret. 2/2
13.04.2025 12:47 โ ๐ 4 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0The writing/editing of code was never the roadblock for efficiency when writing code. Itโs always been about how fast you can problem solve. Instead of truly understanding the options available for the problem youโre trying to solve, Cursor chooses for you and 1/2
13.04.2025 12:47 โ ๐ 4 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 2 ๐ 0Wait, footprint of which setup? Blazor app inside of a browser tab? Blazor web assembly?
11.04.2025 23:25 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0What is the foot print like? Loads of memory? 1GB? ๐
11.04.2025 23:23 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Interesting. You can just put a web view in it and load up a Blazor app right?
11.04.2025 23:23 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Yeah I do prefer flutter over React !
11.04.2025 23:22 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0What chart packages caught your fancy?
11.04.2025 19:54 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 2 ๐ 0I have. Iโm trying to remember why I was hesitant with it. Iโll take another look
11.04.2025 18:44 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0And Iโm extremely experienced with itโฆ
11.04.2025 17:40 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Yeah I hate react native. React in general makes me mad lol
11.04.2025 17:40 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Iโm having the toughest time picking a desktop framework to use for a trading app I want to build.
I want it to be cross platform (mobile, web too), performant, and have access to great graphing libs.
The best ones Iโve found are on .NET, but Iโm looking at rust too. Anyone have recommendations?
Very cool!
10.04.2025 00:38 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0If you were ever wondering what stock market manipulation looks like, look at what just happened with Trumpโs recent pause on tariff announcement and look at the price of the stock market before and after.
09.04.2025 17:55 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Well the market just flew upwards because Trump just announced a 90 day pause on tariffs for all countries besides China. This might end up being a man made โv shape recoveryโ. I wonder how many of his billionaire buddies knew he was going to do this.
09.04.2025 17:42 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Anyway with these AI coding experiments Iโve been doing, itโs good to know my skepticism isnโt simply just being old and cranky for the sake of being old and cranky: my instincts (that theyโre being oversold by people who have incentives to do so) is still correct

Your work looks really cool! Iโve always fantasized about making a video game but I never had the artistic talent
08.04.2025 12:06 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Theyโre not that different, but I do like what OpenAI decided to instead of using websockets, which was server sent events. Under the hood, SSE does work similar to websockets, but disabling writes keeps your REST api relevant and you reserve real time data for incoming events.
