Yup. I follow a small group of barristers, for example. I love their wit & critical thinking. I don't imagine for a second they are interested in my menagerie and life in the sticks.

Another vote here for a financial planner. You still keep busy with what needs doing, but the responsibility of 'have I remembered all the things' is offloaded. Like having your own personal project manager. And we are LOVELY.

An (1) egg from 6 chicklings who came to live here on 28 June 2025 at 10 weeks old. One of whom transgendered himself from <dead name> to Johnnie (and is GORGEOUS). The most expensive, stressful, labour-intensive (for me, not the chickens) egg in the world. I'd frame it if I hadn't put it in my jacket pocket and then bent over to fill the water, forgetting I had an egg in my pocket...

I'd like ALL these things. I get increasingly overwhelmed in crowds and combined with bad behaviour and not being able to see the thing, never mind paid for and expended a good % of my battery getting there is just too much.

This was a taken at a grand Tweet-up in York, when 'that place' was a nice place and brought people together forming lifelong friendships and actual real love.
