I think it would work better if you did something like “format a citation for an article titled (title), by (author) with link (link) in MLA” or something like that. I’d just use Endnote, though… 😆

Wife and I managed to get the trees up! Better late than never. (There are only two — one real, one fake - just multiple photos. The one in the dining room changes between white and color). We’ll see if the outside happens this week…

Haven’t been in contact with either parent since 2020– they blocked me. I also wonder where the heck I got my values from, as it apparently wasn’t them… at all.

Was very happy for the other person, too — she singlehandedly ran the entire marketing team solo for a few months when the 2 or 3 others on the team left for various reasons in the span of a few months. Good way to end the work year! (I had a lot of PTO to burn, and we close the last week) 2/2

I was chosen as employee of the year (with someone else) at our work holiday party today. A few people nominated me. I’m honestly shocked because I haven’t been there a full year yet (mid-February), and I’m fairly quiet. 1/2

Completely agree — the sculpting is nowhere near as good as the original Hasbro figures.

That’s my thought on all the reaction figures (GI Joe and otherwise) — I love that they’re rereleasing figures from the 80s and 90s. I hate that they look so cheap and don’t have the original articulation (although it looks like these newer ones have more than the ones I’ve seen)

Finished the old AMT/Ertel P-40E kit tonight. Terrible kit, but got there in the end. Added Eduard etch, resin exhausts, wheels, and metal barrels — and a lot of super glue and putty. This also officially marks the point where I need to find another display cabinet. 🫣 #scalemodeling

Will give that a try — I replaced one already after it got bent (dropped 🫣)

Yeah - I have a cleaning kit for it that scrapes all that out. I think the main issue is that the needle has pushed through the tip a little bit.

I have had some issue with paint back flow occasionally actually — doesn’t happen every time, but I have seen it

That’s pretty much exactly what I do. Shoots Alclad metalics pretty well though. I’ll probably replace the tip and needle at some point — still using the .15, might try the .2 you suggested

I used Tamiya Olive Drab for a plane in the summer — did 2:1 with water, and it worked surprisingly well.

Huh — I’ve always thought Tamiya white to be the worst one - although I think I’ve only brushed it. I’ve had mixed results airbrushing Tamiya bottles. I love the Tamiya white primer, though — any model with white, I prime in white and then mask it to paint the rest

I’ve got the H&S — would love to hear cleaning tips. I’ve disassembled it as much as I could, and I still get flow issues sometimes — I think the needle has pushed through the tip a little so fine lines aren’t as easy as when it was new. It’s infinitely better than the Master or Pasche I have.
