Local zoning is the way! A lot of these are being stopped or stalled by neighborhood organizing.

These warehouses often need to be purchased, permitted, approved for occupancy and specs. Each one of those steps can be interrupted.

We lost neighbors in the mountains in a devastating avalanche. We had children and adults injured in an act of senseless violence on our own roads. And through it all, we have watched this community show up for each other in ways that remind us exactly why we're proud to call Truckee home.

In the Town of Truckee, our hearts have broken over the past two weeks. Let's join together to help each other heal.

The new DHS funding deadline is next week. That means Democrats have real leverage to stop the regime’s lawlessness. Demand that Dems hold the line and refuse to fund DHS without ironclad limits on ICE and CBP, actual accountability for abuses, and clear guardrails to stop raids and intimidation.

My unsolicited recommendation that will be completely ignored:

A lot of terrible people who helped re-elect Trump will jump off the ship. They will be embraced by Democrats and corporate media.

Make them earn it. Make them show their homework.

Or else this cycle repeats itself again and again.
