For the last 25 years, YES has provided vital support to youth and families in crisis, offering stability, support and hope.

Yesterday, I attended a citizenship court re-enactment ceremony, led by Justice Alan Ingram (Retired) of the Superior Court of Justice. Grade 7/8 students at Adam Scott had the chance to publicly state their love for and allegiance to Canada.

Thanks to RCMP Inspector Tim Dell'Anna for being part of the ceremony, and to the Rotary Club of Peterborough Kawartha for holding this important event.

With Dr. Piggott's background working in the northern region of Labrador on Rural & Remote Health, as well as his many years already at the helm of @ptbopublichealth, I know our communities will continue to benefit from his leadership and expertise.

A pleasure to meet yesterday with Dr. Thomas Piggott, the Medical Officer of Health and Chief Executive Officer of the Haliburton Kawartha Northumberland Peterborough Health Unit to talk about rural health issues.

Standing with Curve Lake First Nation Chief Keith Knott, other local dignitaries, and community members, we listened to powerful expressions of grief and solidarity. As the Member of Parliament-elect for Peterborough riding, I will continue to listen and learn.

After taking a moment to catch my breath after the campaign, it was important to me to attend today's commemorative ceremony marking Red Dress Day - the National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls and Two-Spirited People - at Peterborough City Hall.

I couldn’t resist the Cookery section at the Friends of Peterborough Library’s Spring Book Sale yesterday.
It was the perfect way to prepare for the Mac’n’Cheese Festival.

We will not only unleash the private sector by reducing costs and red tape, we will get the government back into the business of affordable housing – partnering with workers and industry and using Canadian products.

People at the doors have been clear - we need to address our housing crisis.
