This university of Manitoba doctoral research project is recruiting women who have been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder in the last five years. Participation is open to individuals identifying as women. Participation includes completing a short online questionnaire, which takes about 20 minutes. After that you may be invited to do an interview either virtually or in person regarding your experiences with autism assessment and diagnosis. The researcher hopes to understand what works well and what causes problems in the diagnostic process to inform research and practice and do better for women who are seeking a diagnosis. Exactly. Thank you for your comment. So many innovations and novel perspectives have come from the autistic community. I value that-and I feel privileged to learn through my work with people on the spectrum. You all matter and add so much.
