A funky #GlenScotia with a delicious port finish. Although unpeated, it has a very tasty earthy note on the (my) palate.

Surprised (to say the least) that someone had the courage to put such a relatively cheap spirit in a mizunara cask. Don't get me wrong, I love PD grain whisky and this one sounds fab. But still amazed they did it 😍🥃

Exploring something new tonight, a dram from the very young #Bonnington distillery. Based in Leith, #Edinburgh, they started production in 2020. This one was matured in virgin oak. Sweet with intense rye aroma, it could be a bourbon whiskey.
