The latest incarnation of #JackWiebers #ClassicOfIslay range, a (rare) age statement released specifically to celebrate #DeinWhisky 's 10th anniversary. It's a real belter, peaty and meaty. There are no clues re distillery, but I'd bet on Laga. Yummy 🥃❤️

Bottle of 1995 Port Dundas single grain whisky, bottled at 25yo by #MeadowsideBlending in their Grainman series.

I've been neglecting #grain #whisky lately and also, it's about time to start working my way through the #grainman collection (which always was intended to be consumed). Here's a fantastic 25yo #PortDundas from a sherry hogshead. From the colour I'd say, full maturation 🥃 ❤️ 😋

Quite possible, the DL 9yo Bowmore was similar 👍 🥃

Very fruity, and indeed, subtle smoke levels. Decent dram, not my no. 1 tonight 🥃

Massive pink grapefruit for me. Love it 😋 🥃

And a strong dunnage note 🥃 😋

Three whisky samples from the '70s

A triple of samples that are well past their best-before-dates 😂

It's a 1974 Port Ellen in a series bottled by GM without any details of the age or when it was bottled. It will be between 14 and 16 years old.

Just a bunch of random samples I grabbed from the drawer 😉. The #DallasDhu is in the glas now. It has this lovely musty smell, very typical for older whisky styles and which I like. Next up will be #RoyalLochnagar and the peaty #PortEllen to finish with. 🥃 ❤️ Wishing you all a happy weekend #whisky

Cask 1759 filled in November 1996 and bottled in 2007 exclusively for Potstill Vienna, the Austrian importer. It's a real belter of a sherry dram, and a lovely treat to be sipping such a classic #Arran last night. Just look at the gorgeous colour 🥃❤️

Can't picture you tipping any Roses down the drain... 🤷

Secondary market prices often have little to do with the product itself, see Macallan...
Bit sad.
