Undocumented survivors who cooperate with law enforcement still face the threat of deportation under this Admin. That undermines public safety and weakens trust in our justice system. My bill would eliminate the visa cap and ensure that victims are protected while their cases are under review.

Planned Parenthood clinics in our region shut their doors because of Trump's cuts to Medicaid. These clinics served over 23,000 patients with cancer screenings, STI testing, prenatal care, and more. We're demanding Trump comply with a federal court injunction and reinstate this critical funding.

The cost of losing Migrant Education program in Monterey County The program was created in 1966 to ensure the children of migrant workers could receive proper support and education despite the families’ movement.

The Migrant Education Program helps young people in our community stay on track and graduate on time. Now the Admin wants to eliminate it. In Monterey County, that means pulling support from 10,000 students. We’re fighting back.

At another one of my office hours sessions, I spoke with a constituent about her efforts to adopt a child. After months abroad building a bond, the only thing standing in the way is a visa delay. My office is now on the case to try to help.

A constituent filed his taxes in February and still hadn’t heard from the IRS by June. I got involved, and we secured his $4,995 refund within four weeks. I’ll always advocate for timely, accountable service for CA-19.
