Trump is calling on Iran’s civilians to “rise up” and take over their government for their safety and freedom, which is strange because back home US citizens are being shot, detained, or threatened simply for filming immigration agents and excercising their Constitutional rights

It’s so easy to go from the No War president to the regime-change war president. Especially if you’re the Board of Peace chair.

We genuinely need a revival of virtue in the United States.

In my view, that’s almost as critical a project as any other structural reform project necessary in the wake of trumpism. We should become a society that actually values human life such that we would feel shame about this.

We will not be sanctioning Russia for dropping bombs on schools and hospitals. We will be sanctioning Minnesota for allowing its wine moms to blow whistles at ICE officers.
