it was also like a mix of both the ipad and the pen tablet and great if you needed having multiple screens. i use the ipad for 95% of my art but i personally think all 3 are great for drawing, just depends on what you need them for really 💥

i prefer being able to draw anywhere and not just on my desk though the ipad limitation for me was that procreate simply lacked features that i liked on desktop photoshop and csp. so i tried an LCD drawing tablet as an option for the more heavy duty editing; animation, videos, professional work, etc

transitioning to the ipad wasn't easy because i wasn't used to having my hand block a portion of my canvas when drawing. my ipad had tempered glass at first so the pen slipped too easily until i replaced it with textured screen later.

i've used all types. i loved my pen tablet and used it for 5 years until I replaced it with the ipad. the only reason being that it finally broke down and the battery bloated... 🥲
