#scentoftheday John Varvatos Artisan. One of the most special pieces in my collection. It was my grandfather’s signature fragrance. He passed away yesterday morning. Whenever I wear this, I wear it in his honor.

There’s just something about dark fantasy ai art that just hits a certain part of my brain. Especially when it’s paired with that lo-fi 80’s ambient type of music. Ugh. Feels like home.

Does anyone else get Dior Eau Forte in the deep dry down of Maison Francis Kurkdjian’s Amyris Homme? Interesting because they’re both perfumed by Francis Kurkdjian.

I bumped into Bri Lipovsky, founder of Maison d’Etto at Neiman Marcus today. What a wholesome encounter! She went into the story of the fragrances and even gave me a sample of their newest release, Verdades. Debating on buying Rotano, Noisette, or Durban Jane. Lovely to meet you and the family, Bri!

The dry down is where it really shines.

Fragrance of the evening is Ashes from Clandestine Laboratories. The concept of ashes, but if you love the smell of petrichor, this is one to check out. It’s earthy, damp floral and evokes the color gray. So artfully done. #FragranceSky

Bvlgari Tygar? No. Widian Ginger. Same truly amazing DNA but with its own distinctive differences. Give it a try. #fragrancesky

I’m not a fan of workplace humor or memes.

Challenging myself to use 1 frag for the entire week. I will be using Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Etrême. This won’t be easy 😆 My taste in fragrance is changing the more I collect, so this is an attempt to start finishing bottles to make room for the new.

Fragrance of the day is GNTonic by M.Micallef.

The lime and peppermint at the top definitely gives it a cocktail vibe. Brightness from orange blossom and lily of the valley in the mid. Moss, and musk in the base.

It’s effervescent.

Fragrance for the evening is Hacivat by Nishane. Woody oak moss with a hit of pineapple. Versatile. Good for any occasion, but a bit more mature than Aventus which is in the same style. #FragranceSky #sotn #sotd

Fragrance of the day is a sample of Secret Tryst by Fragrance Du Bois. This stuff is beautiful. Warm & sultry amber and resins brightened up by cardamom. Date night fragrance for sure but if you love an ambery vanilla scent this can be worn for any occasion. #fragrancesky #sotd #scentoftheday

I play low-fi hop hop for my plants at home. Leaving them something relaxing to listen to. I like to think it helps.

Now I understand the hype for PowerWash Simulator. I’ve sunk in probably around 15 hours in the last three days just power washing stuff. When I bring the idea of the game up to friends, they just laugh and say no way that’s fun, but they just don’t understand. #gaming #blueskygaming

Had to figure out something that can complement the dry down of my last post. I think this one hits the mark pretty nicely.

Second scent of the day is Creed Viking. A modern take on fragrances similar to original Old Spice aftershave. Stands out notes are Pink pepper and clove. A sophisticated freshie perfect for the season.

While Invictus Aqua 2024 smells nice damn the longevity is lacking. I’m going to throw on another scent in a bit.
