You may be right, but I think it's fair to say it's still uncertain, and that means it's worth fighting for. I think things always had to get quite bad before the majority of people would wake up. Let's hope that awakening happens really soon...

Good point. There are so many more of us now, and meat is no longer a treat—so we're keeping far far too much livestock, putting everything out of balance.

You only need a quarter of the land to feed people on a plant-based diet. So eating less meat would take the pressure off.

Let's hope it's not to late to prevent our civilisation going the same way as so many before it, but turning things round needs unprecedented public pressure. And that can only happen if we break out of the bubble and make people aware of the grave threat we face.
