With Rachel Webb, who brilliantly portrays Juliet in the musical “& Juliet." Must-see production, playing at Ahmanson Theatre, Downtown L.A.’s Music Center.

With Larry Mantle, host of “AirTalk” on radio station 98.3 LAist KPCC, which we listen to most every day. Mr. Mantle moderated a fascinating panel discussion at Skirball Center on “The History of News in L.A.”

This year marks the 40th anniversary of Mantle’s “AirTalk” show.

On Kobe Bryant bobblehead night, we’re decked out in our Dodgers/Kobe #8 jerseys (with #24, his other number on the back).

At today’s Dodger game, fans received these gorgeous replica 2024 World Series championship rings, this one embossed with Ohtani’s name and player number.

Here’s Dodger Stadium today: $100 million in renovations, including new home and visiting clubhouses, are taking place ahead of the 2025 season. We were at the Stadium for the annual DodgerFest, which was relegated to the parking lots.

Wonderful to celebrate my birthday (belatedly) with my dear cousin Tami, who treated Sam and me to lunch at CiCi's, Westlake Village, CA.

Our newly adopted kitten, Fred, is continually active taking ascending and descending steps, inspiring us to bestow upon him a middle name: Fred Astaire Kane.
