Eliminate lobbying. All it is is bribery by another name.

Care work is the foundation of civilisation.
Childcare.
Aged care.
Disability support.
Health care.
Mostly women.
Underpaid.
Emotionally brutal work.

If we want fairness, we have to reduce the ability of wealth to buy outcomes.

We must push for:

• caps on political donations
• real-time donation transparency
• tighter lobbying rules
• stronger corruption oversight
• bans on the revolving door between politics and industry in key sectors

There was a time. My mum’s generation. She went to uni for free and even received a stipend to study. Both my parents were broke poor and they both got free uni education in Australia in the 70’s before I was born
