34) Ghost of Yōtei
-AMAZING! I think it's on par w the first game if not slightly better. The exploration improvements are amazing and I LOVE weapon swapping lol esp since the weapons feel so distinct and fun to use. I'm such a huge fan of Atsu and the overall lone wanderer feel the game has!

It's my first time playing Mario Galaxy 2 and dam they rlly just made the best game of all time again

I just beat Ghost of Yotei and I plan to do 100% cleanup, but MAN. The story is just immaculate and I LOVED the ending. It's hard to beat the first game's ending, but honestly I think they matched it in quality. Sucker Punch cooked again I fear....

It's the focused hearing lol. It lets you "see" through walls for stealth purposes lol.

The nonlinear nature of Ghost of Yotei is so funny because it took me 40 hours of playing this game to unlock a very basic QoL feature that the first game started you off with almost immediately lol.

Never in all my days did I think Sucker Punch would reference Rocket: Robot on Wheels in 2025 lmfaooo

Cancelled!!!! I played more Xbox games on Playstation this year than I did on Xbox!

33) Hades II:
-It's been a while since I've been this addicted to a game! I think in most ways it surpasses the first game, particularly with gameplay depth and variety. I don't think the story is as good, but seeing how improved the rest of the game is, it's still phenomenal!!

Took me 36 nights, but I finally beat the surface path final boss! Not once, but thrice today!!! Aspect of Medea and my babygirl Toula, carry me to the ending my loves!!!!

I just needed to feel something again.....

Being hard stuck on the final surface boss in Hades 2 is making me so mad!!!! Fuck this guy I miss Chronos!!!!

Literally, the run after I made this post I beat him lollll his second phase is so easy!!!! Now I'm ready to play for the ending!!!

This is exactly what the issue was for them lollll. They just took the wrong message from it.

I think the funny part abt Mario Kart World's intermission track drama is that, imo they had a viable workaround when the game launched that imo compromised between what devs wanted and what players want lol. Having random tracks MOSTLY give you 3 lap tracks worked lmao, but not for Nintendo ig.

Blaze fans we need a fucking win asap we got Sonic Rush music in Sonic Racing now we need more.

One issue that I have w Sega's marketing in recent years is that they leave little room for surprise. Infinite Wealth showed a ton of surprise cameos and spoilers, and Sonic x Shadow pretty much showed every level before launch. Even in Sonic Racing, every "secret" stage has been revealed already.

Just beat all Grand Prix. I'll give more fleshed out thoughts once I play the game more, but I LOVE it so far. At max speed, the game feels INCREDIBLE and the tracks and music is AMAZING! I do think the items lean a little too much into chaos (more than Mario Kart), but everything else is awesome!

To be honest, I feel like more ppl need to be talking abt the Trails in The Sky Remake. Like such a legendary series finally being accessible to newcomers in what is a GORGEOUS game in its own right and insanely fun RPG not getting higher recognition is so sad to me.
