Accent's gone looper. I'm further north than where I turn even more broadly generically northern (English), but I'm in *Northern Ireland*. Brain's trying to save me from myself by frantically flipping the Scots Accent switch, but it just can't drown out the MIMIC! MIMIC! signal.

At some point during my last three-year suspension they stopped doing tea afterwards - it's all water or squash now. But they're very keen with the biscuits as compensation.

Right, bits of this are beyond Mein Deutsch. Standard tea (and coffee) contain tannins, which wreck your body's ability to absorb iron. I always have borderline haemoglobin levels, so the week before I switch to Rooibos tea, which is much better for iron absorption. Decaf helps a wee bit.

Piccadilly Circus used to be OK - on a par with a noisy gig of my choice. But now all the ad boards and shop displays are super-bright LEDs, it's uncomfortable at best, more dangerous for those at risk from drivers being distracted or equally over-stimulated, easily tipping towards overload.

I've had the Minion answering the door and being kidnapped as my message notification pretty much since Despicable Me 2 came out. My ringtone is Orbital's Chime; I let it play if I'm screening, or build up at least a few layers if I'm answering.
