Jurassic World vs. Beast Wars: Transformers

Speed paint #watercolor #paleoart of the recently published hedgehog dino, Haolong. What a neat creature!

This Dryosaurus altus has a speculative coat of soft protruding scales, a heavy beak inspired off Hadrosaur remains, and a fleshy, bulbous structure on the face. She is an adult member of the species. There are dead trees in the background and wispy clouds.

Though extremely rudimentary in both shading and background I feel like I took a good step in my artistic development. Hopefully I can continue to do both in the future and get much, much better.
