Work days should be shorter and so should work weeks. There's no reason for me to be sitting here for 9 hours when I'm really only productive from 7am-2pm.

Had a heart ot heart with myself about the fact that what I do professionally is not what I want to be doing right now but I've been hired to & I'm very competent to do what I'm asked so until I can change it I'm not going to hem & haw & feed my anxiety about it. It helped, I've been very productive

OK, Season 17 definitely better than the previous 2 seasons. For the most part the episodes are great there's a lot more diversity in the plots. Seeing a religious turn coming up, a lot more of those episodes this season but it's good. Not great like it was but not as terrible as the previous ones.

That mental fatigue will really get you feeling physically exhausted. I'm feeling really on edge, which is making me feel exhausted and this just throws my motivation through the door.

I think I'm past the worst of it. Didn't need to double dose last night and I slept through the night for the most part. Feeling twinges but nothing like the pain of yesterday. Modern medicine I tell you. Will finish out the prescription as advised.

The one dose worked this morning. Thankfully. Hoping these symptoms just stop today.

Crying again because of the pain and because I just read that it could take up to 4-days for the acute symptoms of the infection to start to ease with medication. I'm just starting my 2nd full day of meds and I just feel a little overwhelmed by how much it hurts. I feel like such a wuss.

Had to double the dose last night because for some reason the 1st dose never kicked in. Got about 6.5hrs of sleep. Woke up after 3AM because the dosage wore off. Now I'm muscling through until breakfast when I can take the next dose. Hopefully, it works this time. Can't wait until this pain is gone.

I have to give it up to prescribed pain meds, I see how people get hooked on opiates so easily, they work quickly, and they last for hours. I am in some major pain right now after taking my midday dose but I wasn't feeling any pain for like 5/6 hours.

I am forever grateful for prescribed medication. Because the pain and inflammation I felt is just gone. Ate some breakfast popped that pill and Lord does it feel good to open my mouth with shard pain.

And I am grateful, truly grateful that I wasn't as impacted but that also feels so fucked because there are people who are facing rebuilding their lives from scratch. Not sure what to do with any of these emotions. I go back to work today so I have to lock in on that, but that's proving difficult.

It's so weird being in a country where one side is literally devastated, people are scrambling to just get food & water, literally waiting to be rescued and the otheraide is just going back to business as usual. I understand, but also, I really don't. People are still waiting to hear from family.

The pill worked. I stopped moaning, at least. It's now just a dull ache. Chronic pain sufferers like my Mom must be going through hell. Like I knew that, but sometimes a reminder helps.

This ear infection has me down bad. The pain is hard to handle. I can't even think straight because it's both ear and jaw pain. I can barely open my mouth. Had to pop an unprescribed pill just now in hopes of just limiting the pain until I can take the prescribed stuff.

Ear infection where the pain ramped up by 100 overnight and because of a technical issue I had to wait over 2, nearly 3 hours for a doctor to tell me what I already knew. The pain is brutally affecting my grateful meter so I'm giving myself a pass for feeling shitty right now.
