Burned wood and furniture lies strewn on the floor. The sides of the cathedral are dark and smoke damaged
The newly restored cathedral is bright with light everywhere. The gold, white and black flooring is shining, where the debris once lay.
Here are the before and after photos of Notre Dame.
The first photo was taken just after the fire. The second photo is from today, as the extraordinary transformation was revealed.
