10.12.2024 03:14 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0What are the best estimates out there of heterogeneity in "income effects" over the income distribution?
By income effects, I mean the effect on your income (or labor supply) of receiving a lump sum transfer or payment?

In my experience, we are not so good at applying our insights to ourselves. π

15.11.2024 08:48 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I donβt know the answer to that. But I do know a recipe for galah soup. Wisdom that goes back a long way in Australia. You put the galah and a stone in a pot of boiling water. You keep cooking it, possibly for a long time, until the stone is soft. Then you throw out the galah and eat the stone.
