He isn’t screaming bloody murder as he clutches his head with a look of constipation etched on his visage. Nah, never.

What kinda drunken stupor has he been in for half a month? Repetitively mumbling something along the lines of, “Worst baba ever!”

“Just means we gotta savour what lil’ good is left in this life, huh?”

He beams with that same carefree optimism and presses his forehead back.

“What’s got ya mumblin’ such gloomy sentiments though?”

“Heh… would be nice if we could be equals…”

He returns a wistful smile as he reaches over for the deity’s hand and gives it a small squeeze, bringing it to his lips to plant delicate kisses to each knuckle.

“But, fate’s shackles have the hardest locks I’ve ever tried to pick.”

“What would we do if ya could? Where would ya like to go? Back to yer moon or on a new adventure somewhere else?”

He pokes his head out from the top of a beam where it seems he’s been napping.

“Not much,” He mumbles under his breath, soon grabbing the deity by the shoulder and giving him a good shake awake.

“Is this some kinda joke!?” He huffs before jerking Majora into his arms and giving him the tightest squeeze.

He jolts from the surprise but, luckily she’s just a plush so there’s no pain. But, he narrows his gaze at the feline before digging the knife into one edge of the box anyway.

The time is quickly approaching and the mercenary is getting too curious for his own good. He’s looking at the box, shaking it around to try and decipher the contents and looking over the tag again…

It doesn’t address who it’s for does it? Majora? Him?

He flicks out a pocketknife…

“So… five more minutes, ya? Then I’ll do whatever ya want me to.”

He murmurs with a yawn, closing his eyes. There is a sense of security and the warmth is a welcome feeling from all the cold offered to him in this cruel dungeon.

Annnnd, if I don’t amuse ya? What then?

Heh. How else would I survive? Especially dealin’ with supernatural bein’s like yerself.

Well, without the warmth of the sun nearby, the rogue decides to crawl after them and once he does he rests his head in their lap.

“Yer mornin’ greetin’ reminds me of someone… ya don’t this mind, right?”

He yawns, rubbing the dark circles beneath his eyes as he rummaged in his supplies.

“I got some books I could trade for food. Will that work? I ain’t great at readin’ so these ain’t that useful to me.”

He was already taking a gander at the merchant’s wares, curious about what they had to offer.

A whiny sound slips from the sellsword and he swats at any hand trying to pry the bottle from his grip.

“Mmm… let’s make a deal… If I get up I keep the bottle but, if I give up the bottle then ya let me sleep for five more minutes.”

Really? But why? I ain’t done anythin’ special for ya.

That, my friend, you’ll have to find out for yerself. Just doin’ what I suggest seems more like a way of “appeasin’” which gives me no genuine reason to trust.

M’hmmmm… and why would ya look out for lil’ ol’ me? I’m just a humble mewcenawy. Unless this is all just to secure a lil’ playmate.

We’ll see if there’s reason to trust ya. Do somethin’ worth trustin’ and I’ll consider it.
