It’s such an amazing reflection of the times that @netflix.com doesn’t consider Warrior Nun to be “LGBTQ+”. Like, the main character, THE warrior nun, is bisexual and falls in love with her lesbian best friend. It’s explicitly queer but apparently that’s something that needs to be hidden.

It looks like they've completely recategorized it with comics and anime. Wow.

And yet they considered it LGBTQ+ enough that the creators needed to hide the main romantic relationship and straight-bait Netflix with Michael, and then Netflix canceled it when it turned out the protagonist was in love with another woman. Are they not listing it in their LQBTQ+ recs now?

CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Not speaking for anyone else, but I really like it when Bea messes up in ways that parallel her rejection of Ava towards the end of season 2. A lot of fics are heavily influenced by season 1, and so lean into "Ava is a flight risk" or "Bea's parents made her hate what she is." Nice change of pace.
