Purdy: Just keep heading towards the sunset and you'll get where you need to go. Crowpaw: Yeah, we knew that part! Brambleclaw: What an odd cat. Squirrelpaw: Do you think we'll see him again? Crowpaw: Sure, next time we need some cat to get us lost. Feathertail: He did get us here, though. Brambleclaw: Purdy says the sun-drown-place is on the other end of this forest. Tawnypelt: I say we go. I feel well enough to walk. Stormfur: Rest another night. Build your strength. Tawnypelt: Yes. One more night sounds good.

By this point in the series, we had an established cover format. All we had to do now was choose a cat to be on the cover...Bluestar with moonflowers, Scourge with barbed wire...In the end, our editor chose Tigerstar (with tiger lilies). I'm happy with this; I think Tigerstar deserves his own cover after being the main villain for three whole volumes!
