It gets a little trickier here and there, but that is thr story of it.

One of my antagonist characters has a enchanted leather glove to fool the enchantment in a sword she is not worthy to use so she can wield it. Problem is, the stress on the glove causes it to heat up and make the leather perish fast.

I mean, it does make some lateral logic that you would turn into Geralt...

The way you wrote the characters evolutions, they change each other and their worlds as they grow in the tribulations they face.

At thr start, she lost her crew and her Portis, she had to restart with people she didn't know she could trust, going back to a mother she thought was happy that Hail took off and didn't come back.
The fact that she opened her heart to allow others in after all that, I still ache for her loss.
