She should stick her viewing to the BBC, then no adverts.
Until they get into power that is.

Leftish socially aware small business owner. (Yes a Chippy!) Living in Belfast. Loves politics, my husband and my French Bulldog Cybil. (In reverse order!) Hates Brexit and all those involved in it. Also love cars, any type any age. Yes I’m that sad.

Another good news story.
We do need many more chargers in Belfast (but I guess it’s devolved)
I have even got over the irritation of missing out on the £1500 car grant by buying too early.
Almost.
Usually anything that describes itself as quality usually means it isn’t.
Great architecture though.
Ps, really good pod this week. (I have to say, as usual) Congrats to both of you and thanks.
The real definition of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.
Repeatedly.
Ah, you can tell I’m not a journalist. Took a couple of posts as accurate. Thanks for the correction Robert.
Must try harder in future.
When I click my fingers you will wake up and be back in the room…🙄

Obviously just a coincidence?
I’m sure it will do its best…

Especially one disguised with the same makeup his face receives?
Absolutely. We will be back to leaving cards in the newsagents window.
Shame the supermarkets that occasionally sell petrol closed them years ago…
To them it’s a sport, but to her it’s her whole career.
And they wonder why more don’t want to be politicians. Nope, me neither.
Love the waspish press release;
A spokesperson for the authority said: "It's evident that Mr Holmes is keen to recognise our national period of Remembrance, which is something we also value highly as a council.

Hasn’t Donald Trump just been seen for another ‘routine’ medical?
30.10.2025 18:06 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0At least the ‘ages’ (whatever that is) fessed up to it being the now ex members of staff fault.
I wonder what they would say if they hadn’t already got someone to blame?
I wonder if they had “another one bites the dust “ ready to play loudly round the newsroom until the story fell over?

Like inheritance tax.
It seems a shame to only do about 400km a year?
Congratulations on the new ticket.

Is that the length of time it took for them to explain?
There is no greater exceptionalism than that exhibited by the DUP.

French bulldog lying asleep on my arm.
Can I have my arm back now please? I need more blood to my fingers…

Hope he recovers quickly.
Agreed. I found it surprising that after saying for the last ten years that EV are a technological cul de sac managed to develop solid state as a technology in record time? Especially when their own BEV cars are crap.
I smell bullshit.
I think that Marketplace is perhaps the worse place to sell anything for keyboard warriors and time wasters.
My friend said how do you make £50 on marketplace? Sell £10,000 of stuff.🙄
Great photo. I initially thought it was a watercolour!
30.10.2025 17:07 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0I guess it’s of the ‘all publicity is good publicity’ theme. Bit like hydrogen cars will be with us in the next ten years. They have been saying it for thirty.
Based on how advanced the Koreans and Chinese are I doubt Toyota will be first with solid state.
Perplexity suggests;
“Ozymandias” is a famous sonnet by Percy Bysshe Shelley that explores the theme of impermanence and the ultimate decline of rulers and empires, no matter how mighty they once appeared.
So as a guess the fall of the USA as a superpower?
Good question but as there is only one left taxed the point perhaps is a bit moot?
